Fortaleza Reposado is a small-batch tequila made by the Sauza family at their historic distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, using traditional tahona-crushed agave and copper pot stills. Rested in oak for several months, it develops notes of cooked agave, vanilla, caramel and light oak spice. It's excellent sipped neat or in an elevated tequila cocktail. Fortaleza is produced by descendants of the original Sauza family at their family distillery, La Perseverancia, in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. It's made using old-world methods, including a traditional stone tahona wheel to crush the agave and small copper pot stills, earning it a reputation among tequila enthusiasts for authenticity and craftsmanship.
