Old Forester is a Kentucky bourbon brand founded by George Garvin Brown, notable as one of the first bourbons ever sold exclusively in sealed bottles rather than by the barrel, a move meant to guarantee quality and consistency. The brand remains one of Louisville's most historic bourbon houses.
