Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Aromatic Yeast 2022 750ML

Yoichi is Nikka's original malt distillery on the coast of Hokkaido, known for a bolder, peatier, more maritime style than sister distillery Miyagikyo. Expect smoke, brine, and dried fruit character with a firm, full-bodied finish, best enjoyed neat or with a single ice cube to open it up. The 750ml bottle is a solid pick for whiskey drinkers who lean toward Scotch-style peat and smoke. Available for pickup or local delivery across downtown LA.

Nikka was founded by Masataka Taketsuru, who trained in Scotland's distilleries before bringing that knowledge home to Japan. Yoichi, the company's founding distillery on Hokkaido's rugged coast, is prized for its traditional coal-fired pot stills and the smoky, robust house style Nikka has protected for generations.
