This full-bodied liqueur hits the palate with a smooth, refined texture. The cherry flavor stands out in intensity - much bolder than typical cherry-brandies - and the finish lingers beautifully, making it an ideal companion to dark chocolate.

Luxardo's second creation starts with cherry juice from the house, aged in wooden barrels for nine months where it naturally ferments into a cherry wine. After fortification and sweetening, the spirit is named Sangue Morlacco (Morlacco Blood) in honor of the fierce Dalmatian warriors who defended their homeland and served the Venetian Republic against Turkish forces.
