The Trinchero family brought their winemaking heritage from New York to Napa Valley, buying Sutter Home in 1948 after decades of closure following Prohibition. Now in its third generation of family ownership and celebrating 75 years, the winery built its reputation on innovative wines that people genuinely enjoy, including the pioneering White Zinfandel released in the 1970s.
